A square for the area of the ex-military bakery in Ancona

Three conceptual matrices originate and articulate three different spaces, integrating them:
1 – the forest, which expresses the idea of inserting in the urban organism an organism developed in the opposite sense: the garden corresponds to the suburban area, the forest to the centre;
2 – the equipped/gantry area. Between the “forest” and the city, the equipped area constitutes the space of man and society. A gantry allows the square to function as a work-site or workshop and is in itself a signal;
3 – new destinations. Every destination is temporary. In the moments of rest it becomes again a square like any other. Water basins, greenery, and environmental control of design, to avoid an excess of objects both indestructible and useless.
