In the urban dimension of Arezzo and of its province, the rehabilitation of the ex-incinerator for taking on such an innovative function attempts to pursue an exemplary programme, on both the political and cultural levels, of symbolic re-appropriation and of sublimation of the current condition: from a source of poison released into the atmosphere to a space for enjoyment and expression, a place for young people to express themselves through music, dance, theatre and figurative arts, and for communication, social interaction and joie de vivre.
